We love researching! Books, maps, blogs, videos, and other web resources. We are members of trail clubs, hiking clubs and specific trail associations. We often examine chats lines and hiking videos for additional inspiration.

Our planning process has evolved through the years. It involves combing through a series of factors to help build a thorough plan.
The planning processes:
  • Trail Knowledge
  • Removing Obstacles
The preparation processes:
  • Equipment
  • Nutrition
  • Health and Fitness

JuSi Adventures Five Step Approach
Before diving into our approach, click on this 'Trail Choice' to see a brief outline of the various styles of treks. Which of these styles best suits you abilities and goals. We often spend weeks and sometimes years selecting possible challenging trek for our next adventures. It is a fun and certainly integral part of our process.

With Trail Knowledge, we create an itinerary detailing water source, cache locations, terrain difficulty, and communities’ services. In the preparation process, we look at Removing Obstacles for the trek. Equipment is then selected, a Nutrition plan is designed to suit the trek, and lastly our Health & Fitness Training is tweaked. An in-depth plan gives us the best chance to successfully accomplish our adventure.

By clicking on the icons, you can navigate the elements that help us build a good plan. We hope this helps you.
